American Savings, FSB is now American Community Bank!
As of December 30, 2014, American Savings, FSB officially became American Community Bank of Indiana.
In our community, we have seen a large number of bank mergers and acquisitions in recent years. I would like to make it clear that this is NOT a merger, acquisition, or sale of any kind. The bank maintains the same ownership, the same leadership, the same employees and the same community spirit that you have witnessed for over a century.
The bank is changing its name as a reflection of its changing identity – as not just a community bank, but as a full-service community bank that offers all of the products and services our community needs. American Community Bank offers a complete suite of banking products and services that extends far beyond the limits of just the savings and loan accounts that many still associate with the bank’s history. At American Community Bank, customers can take advantage of:
- a mobile banking App
- mobile check deposit
- feature-rich online banking
- online mortgage applications
- investment services
- complete commercial banking and lending
- local decision-making
- business online banking
- remote business check deposits
- payroll processing solutions
I hope that you will embrace the new bank name and continue to grow your relationship with our bank. While this change is important and special to us as a bank, it will not be much of a change for you. You will see our logo change on our signage, on our website, on your bank statements and many other places, however, your relationship with the bank will be unaffected.
I am grateful for the support the community has shared with our bank for over 100 years, and I strive to continue to return that support with an equal dedication back to the community. Should you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me directly in our Munster branch at 219-836-5870, or you can speak with any of the bank’s employees who will be happy to assist you as usual. Thank you for your continued loyalty.
